This site is about play, playfulness. Play as form, as method, but also as a way of thinking and as a perspective. Our starting point is that play and playfulness form a powerful ingredient voor learning and innovation, but that this power is undervalued at best in the field of HRD. We would like to invite you to a explorative journey, finding out what is possible when you look playfully at questions in our profession.
The origin of this site is issue 2/2008 of the Dutch-language HRD-magazine ‘Develop’. On this site, we build on the ideas that we, as guest-editors of the issue, developed together with our authors. The central functionality of the site at this moment is to offer you the possibility to download a number of articles in an English translation. Over the next weeks and months we will add additional translations. Please check here regularly.

Hi,
I just stumbled across your site and I’m intrigued! I run a small company in England, and much of our work is about developing creative solutions to learning and innovation. My work in this space very much started looking at play, and I now speak internationally on the subject of ‘creative change’. I’d be very interested in finding out more about what you are doing and contributing/sharing where I can.
